Alaska and Hawaiian Pilots Begin Contract Negotiations with Alaska Management

On February 26, 2025, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines pilots, officially began negotiations for a Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) with Alaska Airlines management. This agreement, once negotiated and ratified, will bring both pilot groups together under a single contract, following Alaska Airlines’ merger with Hawaiian Airlines last year.

Merger Officially Announced! 

On September 18, 2024, the merger transaction between Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines was formally completed. Our pilot leadership is committed to creating a future we can all be proud of, while ensuring that our pilots are protected, and their priorities are upheld throughout the merger process as we negotiate the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA).
